Last week, for the first time ever since I launched this newsletter, I couldn’t send or post an edition and that was due to a horrendous bunch of tech failures all happening at once.

Hardware, software, ISP…you name it. I had to re-set up everything from scratch and buy new PCs to boot (literally).

Clearly the heavens were trying to tell me something or I am particularly electrifying because my phone also chose this week to die…or at least, its screen did.

The good news is that, as of today, everything is back up and running. And yes, I do have my fingers crossed as I type that.

The other good news is that I have learned from past experience and keep backups of absolutely everything so the first resource I am going to share with you today is this invaluable selection of backup options so that, if the tech hammer hits you, you can be back up and running without losing any of your precious data:

It also helps to keep yourself motivated and here are 45 ways to do that:

If you like to listen in for your motivation, Mike Dillard’s podcasts are full of excellent speakers, insights and sheer life-affirming, butt-kicking brilliance. I especially like this one from Hal Elrod, author of The Miracle Morning, because I am currently reading his book:

Let’s stay with that theme of inspiration and motivation with your TED talk which is a moving, heartfelt and often funny look at how our hardest times make us who we are:

On that note, onward and upward and I look forward to a week of peace and prosperity for us all!
