I have to confess I’m not a huge fan of most of the course hosting sites out there. I’ve tried almost all of them and find them expensive and too rigid in their layout and design possibilities.
Now, I totally get that might not be a popular opinion but each to their own. I have been building my own self-hosted solution that allows for a lot more flexibility and which I think gives a better user experience.
One thing I do find on many of the big platforms is great content – tips and tutorials that are top notch and can really help you.
