Today we’re looking at things I am not yet an expert/very good at. Marketing things, in case you’re worried I might go on about tennis or something.

That’s for two reasons:

Firstly, and as you have probably noticed, I am allergic to gooroo/influencer culture. I prefer authenticity because I think it’s far more helpful to you.

And secondly – we all have to start somewhere. There are things at which I am an expert and I teach you those things. Learning other things along with me can only help you even more.

So let’s dive into the first of those things which is…

Clubhouse.

Now, I joined Clubhouse months ago after receiving one of the coveted invitations. I could see its potential but I was focused on other platforms at the time and I always advocate sticking to a platform until you have mastered it.

With more time for Clubhouse, I want to master that too. So I’ve started doing so with this from Social Media Examiner:

https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/clubhouse-strategy-how-your-business-can-benefit/

I also signed up for their masterclass (no cost) on the same subject.

I’m also taking Neil Patel’s advice here on his 5 ways to build a following on Clubhouse:

https://neilpatel.com/blog/clubhouse-app/

And if you’re a total Clubhouse beginner this is a very useful guide to the basics:

With some more good stuff here including whether or not Clubhouse is right for your business:

The other platform I want to master is TikTok and that’s primarily because I’ve seen huge growth on it for certain people, sectors and niches over the past year.

Again, I’m going to listen to Neil Patel and use his 8 tactics here:

https://neilpatel.com/blog/tiktok-marketing/

I’m also going to implement stuff from this ultimate guide here:

Along with this beginner’s guide here:

Phew…that should keep both you and me busy. As I said earlier, I believe in mastering one platform at at time so I’m starting with Clubhouse but by all means do what works best for you.

Two TED talks for you this week – both are inspirational but one is perhaps more holistic and therefore is your self care.

Elizabeth Gilbert on how to deal with overwhelm and what to do next:

And Simon Sinek on finding your why in difficult times:
