A list.

What does that mean to you?

If you’ve had anything to do with IM for any length of time, you’ll know that this means an email list…

But it’s so much more than just a bunch of anonymous names.

In fact, I hate that idea of a ‘list’ because it depersonalises it so much although I admit I don’t have a good alternative for you.

Until I do think one up, however, we can talk about what really matters and that is nurturing that list, or rather looking after those people.

You see, it’s all very well getting people to subscribe but then what do you do? Well, if you want to do the right thing you start to build relationships.

And you do that by sharing in all kinds of ways – sharing tips, information, snippets of yourself…anything and everything that will connect with your subscribers as well as serving them.

By doing that, you are far more likely to build that kind of trust that means people will buy from you rather than someone else.

It also means people will actually engage with you by opening and reading your emails in the first place.

It’s that simple.

So today I am focusing on ways you can nurture your list and we’ll start with these six great strategies:
