For some reason, many marketers and online entrepreneurs are reluctant to say what markets and niches they are in – presumably because they’re terrified everyone will then rush off and become their competition.

These are usually the same people who tell you that these niches and markets are impossible to saturate as they sell you something on the subject.

Go figure.

Anyway, it’s fairly obvious which niches and markets I am in because I talk about them and create material, including DFY content, in them.

I’m also very happy to share them with you because I don’t believe you can saturate anything given the size of the global market and the fact that you simply have to bring yourself and a new angle as well as a sub-niche to the party and you’re cooking.

Before we carry on, let’s just clarify what I mean by niches and markets.

A market is a big, all-encompassing area such as wealth or health. A niche is a segment within that such as IM or fitness. A sub-niche is an even more targeted segment such as email marketing or HIIT.

Got it?

So let’s now talk about one of my favourite markets and one I know is going to get even bigger this year because I have been keeping a close eye on my results and those other people are getting within it.

What is it? Personal development.

Why is it doing so well? Because people are in desperate need of all kinds of support, new skills and even a new way of being and living thanks to the pandemic.

So let’s now look at some resources to do with the personal development market…

And we’ll start with this podcast from Pat Flynn:

Before moving on to this on how to write for the personal development market:

And this on how to make that all important moolah in it:

As for those sub niches, there are some good ideas here (these are not all personal development):

With ten specific personal development programs here to promote:

One of the best of those is Manifestation Miracle with an average payout of 179.01 per sale. It’s such a good product and niche to be in that I have created my next Limited Edition content package especially for it – that’s released tomorrow and I’ll make sure you’re the first to know if you want to grab one of the limited licenses.

And more ideas here:

Now, you know I also like to share stuff to help you personally so take a look at this, again from Pat Flynn on ways entrepreneurs can conquer loneliness and feel more connected:

While one of my favourite podcasts, Mindvalley, as this selection of its top ten listens – you’re sure to find something to inspire, motivate or just soothe you here:

Your TED talk fits within the theme of personal development and is one I love – it’s on how to be an opportunity maker:
