Greetings from a hot and sunny London. I know – not what you expected to hear but it’s not all grey skies and umbrellas here in the land of Paddington Bear.

What it is though, is a changed city post pandemic, as I’m sure everywhere is right now. People are not spending as much or travelling as much and that has a noticeable effect.

Do I think you should panic about what are inevitably difficult times? No. But I do think you should make some wise decisions.

I watched a video earlier this week in which Anik Singal talked about what he’s going to do and I think there was some great advice in there. It’s only around 9 minutes long:

If you’re an affiliate marketer, it would be a good idea to tailor your promotions to the times. Think about the way people are prioritising their needs. That will almost inevitably mean they will put alleviating pain over pleasure.

The three big markets of health, wealth and relationships offer gazillions of options for things to promote. My advice? Be super targeted. Don’t just promote a dating program, for example, but one which targets seniors who are starting again.
