I was talking to a copywriter yesterday and, of course, the conversation turned to AI.

In answer to my asking whether he felt threatened by it, he said no. He serves a niche market of clients, writes in his own unique voice and is confident that AI can’t and won’t replace him for now.

I agree with one caveat…I don’t think  AI will replace the human voice or touch for a very long time, if ever.

The best way to look at it is, in my opinion, as a co-creator,  a valuable tool which, if used in the right way, can serve us rather than threaten us.

This is pretty much the stance I take in my teaching too. I firmly believe we need to embrace AI because, quite frankly, we have no other choice.
