We had the most glorious sunny weekend here complete with the local fair at which lots of small, local businesses were selling their goods.

I was impressed by how many had their online presence and marketing so professionally organised – a consequence partly of the pandemic when it was an absolute necessity.

It will continue to be a priority to have a great website/social media presence/online shop for physical and digital businesses alike as competition intensifies.

Does that mean the market is saturated?

Absolutely not.

What it does mean is that you need to keep differentiating yourself from your competitors, standing out by doing your thing in your way.

Don’t be tempted to copy other marketers but rather adapt their ideas to suit what you’re doing.

Cookie cutter is never a good look and especially not now when it really does pay to be yourself…because that’s the best way to ensure you are unique!
