Happy Sunday – there’s something in the air here in London. Mainly flags flying because England play Italy tonight in the Euro final and that’s about as much as I know about football so I’ll stop right there.

What I do know about is marketing and I thought this week we’d pick up on some of the things I’ve seen around being marketed to you so I could offer helpful alternatives that won’t cost you a bean.

Let’s start with funnels…

Ah yes. That buzzword.

There’s no denying funnels work but people not only over-complicate them, they also make you feel as if you need their spiffy (and expensive) software to build one in the first place.

You don’t.

You can do it yourself and for little more than your usual basic costs of hosting etc.

Here’s an overview of what funnels are, what they do and how to create one:

And even more on how to ensure that funnel converts – in this case to 3 x your profits:

Now let’s get specific about the tools you need to build one for nada.

You can use a page builder and there are suggestions for the 5 best ones here:

With more specific, step by step information on using 3 of those builders here:

You could also do what I do and use WordPress – here’s how to do that:

With more excellent advice from the people at Elementor here:

All of that should help you see that you can not only get started for very little but keep building out funnels in the same way without needing the shiny software that is dangled in front of you.

Of course, funnels need emails as the most important part of the follow-up process and I recommended a great set of email templates to you this week.

I always believe in empowering yourself, though, so here is some great advice on how to make the ones you write yourself way more impactful:

Templates are great and a huge time-saver but it’s good to tweak them to fit your voice and the advice given there will help you do just that the right way.

I absolutely love your TED talk this week – it’s about the secret to great opportunities:
