For some reason, many people overlook browser extensions as a great way to perform all kinds of tasks for nada.

Not me.

I love a good browser extension so I’m sharing my favourites with you here…which means you can benefit too!

All these extensions will save you serious amounts of time and effort…

And one of the best ones I know is Readability. Readability is a read-later app so you can save any web page, article or blog post to your reading list and come back to it when you’re ready. The extension also strips away distracting elements like ads – brilliant!

Get it here:

Next up, the Evernote web clipper which lets you save anything you find online that you want to remember, come back to or save for later. You can use it to save images, text, links, or entire webpages.

Then there’s Todoist, a project management tool that lets you create to-do lists across all of your devices.

Simple and so useful – get it here:

I take screenshots all the time and the best screenshot /extension I’ve found is this one:

While if you ever want to save a webpage as a PDF or in a print-friendly format, you need this:

Hate paywalls? Me too. If you use Firefox, there’s a handy extension called Bypass Paywalls that will let you read articles even if you don’t have a subscription.

If you prefer Chrome, the extension you need is Unpaywall:

Finally, if you have ever tried to remember your password for all those pesky sites you need this… LastPass is a password manager that autofills in passwords for all of the accounts you save with this extension. You only have to remember one password: your LastPass password.
