Hope you’re having an amazing week! I certainly am and besides the wildly successful launch of Frameworks to Fortune (instant Deal of the Day – yay!) I’ve been taking a close look at what’s actually working for online creators right now…

And I’m sharing all that with you right here.

You see, while everyone’s scrambling to keep up with the latest trend or social media algorithm change, some smart creators are quietly building systems that just… work. And keep working.

I’m talking about models that’ll carry you through the rest of 2025 and beyond. The kind of setups that make money while you sleep (yes, I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s literally true for some of my friends now as well as for me).

Today I want to share five approaches that are absolutely crushing it right now. Nothing complicated, nothing that requires a huge budget…just solid, proven strategies you can start testing this week.

1. Paid Newsletters (The Steady Money Maker)

I know, I know…another person telling you to start a newsletter. But hear me out.

The numbers are eye-popping. We’re seeing newsletters pulling in 500K+ annually now. Harry Dry from Marketing Examples has built this to more than 130,000 subscribers, and his readers have voted it the #1 marketing newsletter. That’s not luck. It’s giving people exactly what they want.

Here’s what’s working:

  • Start free to build trust (this is key!)
  • Add a paid tier around $10-15/month for deeper insights
  • Maybe throw in a VIP level at $50-100 for the real fans

Platform choice (and this actually matters): Beehiiv lets you keep 100% of your revenue but charges monthly fees. Substack is free to start but takes 10% forever. For most people just starting, I’d lean towards Beehiiv – that 10% adds up fast once you’re making money.

Pick your topic, set up your platform, and publish your first issue. Don’t overthink it – your first newsletter will probably suck and that’s totally fine. Mine definitely did!

2. Swipe Files (The Quick Win)

This one’s my personal favourite because it’s so beautifully simple. People are busy. They don’t want to reinvent the wheel – they want templates, examples and things they can copy-paste.

I’ve seen creators make 2-5K in their first month selling things like:

  • “50 Email Subject Lines That Actually Get Opened” ($27)
  • “Viral TikTok Hook Templates” ($19)
  • “Complete Launch Sequence Scripts” ($97)

The secret to success? Don’t just create and hope. Take a page from Harry Dry’s playbook and promote everywhere simultaneously. Twitter threads, LinkedIn posts, Reddit communities, your email list….

All at once.

Start by collecting examples you already love. See an email subject line that made you click? Save it. Notice a social post that stopped your scroll? Screenshot it. You’re basically curating what already works.

For this week, pick ONE type of template (emails, social posts, sales scripts) and start your collection. Aim for 25-50 examples, then package them up in a simple Google Doc or Notion page.

3. Micro-Courses (The Knowledge Goldmine)

Remember when online courses were these massive, $997 beasts that took months to create? Well, those days are over. People want quick wins now – 60-90 minute trainings that solve one specific problem.

Justin Welsh’s Content OS is a perfect example. It’s short, focused, and has over 12,000 students. The sweet spot seems to be $47-97 for something that delivers immediate value.

What’s working right now:

  • One-hour workshops ($27-47)
  • Weekend challenges ($97-197)
  • Template & tutorial combos ($47-97)

And here’s the best part…

You can literally record these on your phone. No fancy equipment needed. Just you, your expertise and a simple screen recording app.

The formula: Problem & Solution & Templates & Examples = Course people actually buy.

Right now, think of one thing you could teach someone in 60 minutes that would genuinely help them. Record a quick outline on your phone (seriously, just talking through it). You might surprise yourself with how much you know!

4. AI-Powered Coaching (The Emerging Goldmine)

While everyone’s talking about AI replacing jobs, smart coaches are using AI to 10x their business and charge premium rates.

The global coaching market hit $6.25 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $7.30 billion by 2025. But here’s the kicker: 35% of coaches expect AI to replace 20% of coaches, but 45% expect AI to augment their practice.

Those who embrace AI will dominate. Those who don’t will get left behind.

What’s Working Now:

  • AI-Enhanced 1:1 Coaching (150-500/hour)
  • AI-Powered Group Programs (500-2000/month)
  • Digital AI Coaching Clones (24/7 passive income)

Your AI Coaching Stack:

  • Content Creation: ChatGPT/Claude for session plans and resources
  • Client Insights: AI analysis of progress patterns and trends
  • Scaling: AI clones like Delphi and Coachvox that coach clients 24/7
  • Marketing: AI-generated case studies and social proof

Teams using AI coaching tools report 76% increase in win rates and 78% reduction in deal cycles. For coaches, this means higher success rates and faster client transformations = premium pricing.

How To Start This Week:

  1. Pick your coaching niche (business, health, relationships, productivity)
  2. Set up ChatGPT Plus for session planning and content creation
  3. Create 5 AI-powered coaching templates
  4. Test with 3 beta clients at 50% rate to gather testimonials

5. Community Building (The Recurring Revenue Machine)

People are moving from social networks to social communities. Rather than become fans of influencers, people want to join well-nurtured communities where members engage meaningfully.

Platform Choices:

  • Discord: 200 million users, perfect for engaged communities, completely free
  • Slack: 54 million users, more professional feel, better for business-focused groups
  • Circle/Mighty Networks: Built specifically for paid communities

Revenue Models:

  • Free community plus premium tiers ($10-50/month)
  • Exclusive access communities ($100-500/month)
  • Mastermind-style groups ($500-2000/month)

Your Community Blueprint:

Week 1: Set up Discord server with 5-7 focused channels

Week 2: Invite 20-30 people from your network

Week 3: Host first live event/Q&A

Week 4: Launch paid tier with exclusive benefits

The key is to ensure that the community is already warm when new members enter – have ongoing engagement and activity.

The Mistakes I See Everyone Make

Trying to do everything at once…Pick one thing. Master it. Then add more.

Underpricing…Your knowledge is worth more than you think. Don’t race to the bottom.

Waiting for perfect…Launch at 80% ready. You’ll learn more from real feedback than months of tweaking.

Ignoring email…Social media followers are rented. Email subscribers are owned.

Building without asking…Check with your audience first. What do they actually want?

Right now, pick ONE model:

Newsletter – If you love writing and have expertise to share

Swipe Files – If you’re good at spotting patterns and organizing

Micro-Course – If you can teach a specific skill quickly

AI Coaching – If you can guide transformations and embrace technology

Community – If you’re good at bringing people together and facilitating

Then block out 2 hours today to build your MVP.

Don’t overthink it. The people who succeed are those who start and improve along the way(and yes, you can use Frameworks to Fortune with or without Stacks to help you with this and everything else I’m suggesting here.

Here are links to the resources and tools I’ve mentioned here along with some more (almost all are free):

I know this might feel overwhelming. There’s a lot here. But here’s what I want you to remember…every single successful creator started exactly where you are right now. Uncertain, maybe a little scared, definitely not sure if anyone would actually pay for their stuff.

But they started anyway.

The great thing is that there’s still time to build something meaningful (and profitable!) before the year ends.

And if you start now, you’ll be way ahead of everyone who’s still thinking about it come January.
