Howdy from a London where the wind is howling (see what I did there?) and people are staggering around in a state of January disbelief.
I know – Week Two of the New Year and what do you have to show for it? That was a joke, btw. I don’t believe in being hard on you or you being hard on yourself. There are way too many people out there willing to do that.
Instead, let’s think in terms of nurturing – your skills, your mindset and, yes, you. I started sharing some tips and resources for setting up your own membership site in my last post, something I am keen to encourage as it is a great way of bringing you in steady income while reducing your workload.
And we all like that!
I promised we would talk about the ‘C’ word tin this next post: content. Yes, you need it, No, it does not have to be painful or difficult or even time-consuming to create. What it does need when it comes to membership sites is to fit in with your overall purpose.
Ah yes – purpose. You see, first off you have to define what your site is all about or rather what it offers your members. What will they get from it?
You also want to decide what membership model to employ to help structure that site. Get those fundamentals in place and the content will simply flow naturally. I promise.
